Wanda Langford

She was born November 23, 1945 in Carthage, Texas to A.D. and Hazel Soape. Her occupation was a stay at home mom and diligently took care of family. Never shying away from hard work or helping others. She loved doing puzzles and playing games with her grandchildren. She loved gardening and pulling brim out of the water while fishing.

Miss Langford is proceeded in death by her husband Bobby Langford, daughter Kimberly Kay Langford, brothers Charles Soape, Roger Soape, and sister Barbara Daniels.

She will be greatly missed by her remaining family members. Daughter Debbie Shelton and husband Robert. Granddaughters Dana Deitz and Husband Michael, and Shelby Shelton-Arnold. Grandsons Zack Thompson and wife Brittnie, Dylan Thompson and wife Kynlee. Great-grandchildren Zoey Arnold, Madison Arnold, Darcie Thompson, Brantley Thompson, Carter Thompson, and Addisyn Thompson.

A a time of visitation with her family for Wanda will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 W. Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604. A a celebration of her life will occur Friday, January 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home.
