Mrs. Kutch lived a long and happy life. She spent the past couple of years in and out of DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama fighting a multitude of illnesses. Her battle with these illnesses ended peacefully on November 21, 2012 when she was called home to her precious Jesus. Mrs. Kutch was born on November 23, 1929 in Prescott, Arkansas to Thelma and Rufus Tyner. She is a graduate of Pine Tree High School in Longview, TX, and retired from AMSouth Bank in Birmingham, Alabama.
Juanita will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her sweet spirit. She loved life and her family. She was happiest when she was doing for others. Juanita’s love of food and cooking led to a catering business out of her home. She created beautiful wedding and birthday cakes. She delighted all with her wonderful meals. She had no greater joy than spending time with her family and going fishing. She was a devoted Christian and lifelong member of Greggton United Methodist Church of Longview, TX. She lived in Georgia, Indiana, Alabama, and upon retiring, they moved to White Oak, TX where she lived for 20 years before relocating to Alabama, seven years ago, to be near her daughters and her grandchildren. She was a resident of Pine Valley Retirement Community in Tuscaloosa for the past 3 years with her companion of 12 years, Angel, her pet Maltese. Her dog was indeed her angel as she come to live with her the day she buried her husband.
She is survived by her daughters: Vicki Dunn and her husband Judge Thomas Dunn of Tyler, TX, Debbie Mewborn and her husband Curtis of Dewy Rose, GA, Terrie Scott of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren: Amanda Mewborn of Atlanta, GA, Shawn and Heather Dunn of Ringo, GA, Jenny Mewborn of Atlanta, GA, Cara Dunn of Dallas, TX, Whit, Courtney and Shelby Scott of Tuscaloosa, Al; Brother: R. Darrell Tyner and his wife Norma of Tyler, TX; sister: Wilma Stafford and her husband Joe of Longview, TX; Sisters-In-Law: Falma Kutch of Gilmer, TX, Betty Tyner Chronister of White Oak, TX, as well as a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 with the Rev. Mike Daniels and Rev. Ricky Ricks officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Clay Kutch, Kyle Kutch, Casey Kutch, Pat Kutch, Kerry Stafford and Kylor Stafford.
