Robert Thomas Briggs Sr.

Mr. Briggs was a Veteran of the National Guard. He was a long haul truck driver for many years. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing with his dad and his sons.

Robert is survived by his wife, Rosetta Briggs; son Robert Thomas Briggs and wife Marie; son William Earl Briggs and wife Lynnette; daughter Lisa Earline Quick; daughter Dora Stoner and husband Russell; son Donald Yeager; son Earl Wayne Yeager; and daughter Carolyn Renee Bayless; daughter Debra Ann Skinner, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by; father Earl Briggs and mother Annie Mae Henderson Briggs; daughter Candy Lynn Briggs; brother Ned Royce Briggs and brother Billy Caine Briggs.

A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 W Harrison Road, Longview, Texas 75604. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM, Lakeview Funeral Home 5000 W Harrison Road, Longview, Texas 75604. An entombment will occur Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Memory Park Cemetery, 2823 East Marshall Ave, Longview, Texas 75601.
