My heart goes out to the family. He was a dear sweet cousin  whom I will miss. We will see you again someday Floyd.

We want to express our deepest sympathy.  In meeting Floyd through my brother, he was faithful to pray for us when I was having medical issues, and we have since kept up with him in his medical battle and lifted him in prayer.  We continue in lifting you up as well as you mourn his death.

Dear Nancy and family......Floyd was such a sincerely Good person. He had a larger than life heart and such a warm loving soul.  He was so thoughtful and helpful during my husband's  illness and his passing. He lifted me up when I needed it. He had the greatest smile and laugh. I know we now have another guardian angel looking down and watching over his family and friends.  ...........He will be missed but so remembered in our hearts ........

I can remember, as a young child, looking up at my Uncle Floyd and not seeing the giant of a man he was, but a loving uncle.  I remember hearing about the tough times in his life and his strength to get through those times.  I remember his big laugh and hugs that wrapped around you like a warm blanket.  I remember a strong man that had what it took to acomplish his dreams.

Now I see my Uncle Floyd, without pain or suffering, sitting with Mamaw and Papaw, Grandmother Jones, Aunt Virginia, Uncle Ed and daddy, signing old gospel songs and sounding wonderful. 

I will forever miss you, Uncle Floyd.  I will forever hear your voice singing.  And the love I have for you will never fade.  My grief is selfish, I know, because you are whole again;  but the loss is so very hard to take.  Watch over the rest of us until we are all together again.

Nancy, So sorry about Floyd. We will miss him dearly. I can see him though, free now to sing in that heavenly choir with joy totally unimaginable to us! I also believe with all my heart that he will be one of the first to greet us when it is our turn to enter those heavenly gates to be with Jesus. Dave and I are so thankful for having known Floyd.
