Dorothy Lane Martin, 67, born June 21, 1944 in Amarillo, Texas, to Oren and Addie Mae Brown Ivy, passed away February 18, 2012 in Longview, Texas. Dorothy was a counselor in the medical field for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Duane Ivy, and Bill Carson. Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Colin Martin; daughter, Rebecca Martin; son, Randall Martin and wife Melinda; granddaughter, Jennifer Martin; great grandchildren, Zoey Haney; Kalie Martin and Cody Martin; and a brother, Jimmy Ivy and wife Nancy.nephew, Darrell Ivy; and nieces, Lori Ivy; Gina Ivy; and Jamie Ivy.
The family will receive friends from 6-8.m., Friday, February 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Lakeview Funeral Home, the Rev. Herb Spady officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
