Dorothy F. Gaw

passed away quietly January 16, 2016 due to a sudden

stroke. Dorothy led by her Christian example, living a

life of meaning and purpose--celebrating small victories

and treasuring the simple pleasures. Every day is a gift, and

her family and friends were hers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Durward Gaw,

the love of her life; sister Eury Dennis of England and brother

Angus Fraser of Australia. She is survived by her children

David and Jan Gaw of Colorado Springs, Sylvia and John

Sharp of Longview, and Kathryn and David Barrow of Plano;

also, her brother Brian and Anne Fraser of England.

Grandchildren include Veronica and Tim Bandy of Maplewood,

MN; John Barrow of Plano; Melanie and Brent Palmer of Point

Blank; Tammi Gaw of Washington, D.C.; Joy and Bobby Orf of

Detroit; Matt and Sarah Gaw of Colorado Springs; and eleven

treasured great-grandchildren. Also, sisters-in-law Alice Gaw of

Longview; Peggy and Dale Watts of Sulphur Springs; Lou Gaw

of Marshall; and Vicki Fraser of Australia; plus numerous nieces

and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made

in Ronnie's name to First Baptist Church Longview - Home Ministries.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016

at Memory Park Cemetery .
