Cary Wayne Brown

Cary Wayne Brown, of Longview, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Cary was born August 13, 1955 in Lufkin Texas, to Bob and Betty Brown . Cary was a hard working man who spent many devoted years to EastMan Chemical. Mr. Brown had many great loves such as hunting, fishing, and bird watching, but the greatest love he had was for his wife Marlene of 38 years. He served honorably in the United states Army and acquired the rank of PV1. Above all things, Cary was a man of his country, a man who stood for family values, and an all around great man who will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Betty Brown.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Marlene; Sister, Jan Copeland, amazing children David Lichty, Chris Lichty, Daniel Brown; Grandchildren Hadley Lichty, Cade Lichty, Dax Lichty; Haley, Alex Lichty, Chloe; and numerous great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Brown at the Grace Creek Church of Longview Texas, Saturday March the 12th at 2:00pm. The service will be officiated by Pastor George Stevens.

The family wishes for all floral arrangements to be sent to the Grace Creek Church (1500 W Hawkins Pkwy, Longview, TX 75605) the day of the service.
