Barbara Ann Turner

Barbara Ann Turner, 74, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 29, 2016. She was born July 19, 1942 to Luther Lee Newton and Lillian Pauline McDonald Newton, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a longtime resident of Longview. Barbara had many hobbies such as holiday celebrations, gardening, the Dallas Cowboys, Elvis Presley, and fishing. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, infant daughter, Patricia Bandy, nephew, Terry Paul Newton, and her brother, Jay Newton. She is survived by her brother, Dale Newton and wife Shirley; sister, Nancy Montgomery and husband, Bobby; sister in law, Sarah Newton; son, Donald Bandy and wife Alice; son, Danny Essary and wife Deborah; daughter, Teresa Sutton and husband Mickey; daughter Christina Hall; grandchildren, Robert, Dustin, Ashley, Amber, DJ, Chris, April, Dylan and Shaye; great grand children, Carson, Miley, Madisyn, Adelyn, Kennedy, Michael, Whitley, and Lyla; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 W. Harrison Rd, Longview, Texas 75604. In lieu of flowers, family would like donations be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research and Alzheimer's Association.
