Roseann Leora Murray

Roseann Leora Murray, aged 59, passed away at home in Loveland, CO on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. She was surrounded by family and friends. Born on January 15, 1965, Roseann was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and generosity throughout her life.

Roseann pursued a distinguished career in law, founding the Murray Law Firm, LLC in 2006. Specializing in estate planning, probate, social security, trusts, and elder care, she was deeply committed to serving and advocating for those in her community. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her professional life; she served on numerous boards and was particularly passionate about animal welfare.

Educated at Metropolitan State University, Denver, and later at the University of Denver Law School, where she earned her juris doctorate in 2004, Roseann's academic and professional journeys were marked by diligence and a drive to aid those in need.

Roseann's personal life was filled with joy and love, surrounded by her husband of 24 years, David Schmock, and a close-knit family including her sister, Diane Murray Byers, nieces Alyssa and Stacia Miller, and nephews Brad and Evan Miller. Great nephew, JR Cornwell and great niece, Vanessa Cornwell. She was also a cherished stepdaughter to Patricia Goward. Her parents, Myles (Tony) and Donna Murray, preceded her in death.

An avid traveler and reader, Roseann cherished the moments spent exploring new places and the quiet times immersed in books. Her dogs were her joy, receiving endless love and care.

A celebration of life for Roseann will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Howe Mortuary Chapel, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. Following the celebration of life will be a reception at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Inn Between or The Larimer County Humane Society in her name, honoring her love for animals and commitment to community support.
