Kaden Paul Allen died in our family home in Firestone, Colorado during the early morning hours of January 24th, 2023 at the age of 16. He was a very handsome kid with a big heart and a beautiful smile that would light up any room he entered. Kaden would do anything to help a friend or family member.
Kaden was born in Denver Colorado on October 27th, 2006 and moved to Englewood, FL in 2010. While in Englewood from 2010 – 2017, Kaden enjoyed soccer, golf, baseball, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, boating, traveling, and hanging out on the beach. He attended Vineland Elementary and was either on the Honor Roll or Principals Honor Roll through the 5th grade. Kaden developed very close friendships in Englewood which continued to his death, especially with Julian and Isaiah.
Our family returned to Colorado in 2017 and settled in Firestone where the extroverted Kaden developed a whole new group of friends with Tristan, Elise, Stefan, Ava, Caleb and Donovan being his besties. Kaden played baseball and three years of football including on the freshman team at Frederick High and two prior years on Warriors and Raptor teams with both finishing as runner-up in the Championship games. Kaden also met and dated his first and only love, Kiana who he loves dearly until his death and beyond.
Kaden loved to travel and see new places and things. He traveled to Baton Rouge to see his Grandpa, Uncles & Aunts, and Mike the Tiger, Opelousas to see his Ma Ma, Pa Pa, and Uncles and Aunts, New Orleans to visit the French Quarter, Mount Rushmore, Arizona to visit family, Gulf Shores/Orange Beach AL, Destin FL to Visit his Uncle and Aunt to fly in their helicopter and bi-plane, Grassy Key, FL to swim and work with dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center, Key West, Disneyworld, Universal Studios, and was a season ticket holder for Busch Gardens in Tampa, cruised to Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel. Kaden also visited New Mexico to watch his Grandpa compete in the National Senior Games bicycle racing, and probably his favorite trip was to Isla Mujeres, an island off the coast of Mexico where he bought a hat and sun glasses and pretended to be Bruno Mars for a week. And one of his Dad’s favorite and Kaden’s last, was a recent weekend trip with just Dad and Kaden to the hot springs in Wyoming just to hang out together.
Kaden is survived by his parents Michael and Wendy Allen, Grand Father Paul (Deirdre) Allen, Grand Father Dana (Leslie) Benore, Great-Grand Mother Mary Lou Warrick, Birth-Mother Holly Woods, Uncle Justin (Heather) Benore, Uncle Josh Benore, Uncle Darin (Michelle) Allen, Uncle Steven (Shelby) Allen, Aunt Stella (Kirk) Lirette, Aunt Donna (Phil) Dupre, Uncle Quin (Lisa) Ducharme, Aunt /Travel partner Joanne Allebone Creath, Cousins Ashley, Zack, Arin, and Alex Benore, Cousin Taylor Dupre and numerous other Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
