James L. Hill

James was born October 9th, 1932 in Denver, Colorado to Ernest T Hill and Margaret Hannan. He moved to Boulder as a baby where he lived on a farm that is now where the CU engineering building sits.

At the age of 16, James began his first job as a window washer. In 1978, he began working at a movie theatre as a doorman. Shortly after that, he was a motion picture projectionist and retired in 1978.

While living in Boulder, James would walk around his neighborhood giving treats to the local dogs. The dogs loved it so much, they would watch for him! His other hobbies included jigsaw puzzles and listening to classic country music. He loved to garden and always grew the most beautiful roses every summer.

In 1951, he married Barbara Heaton. And in 1978, he married Wilma Terwiliger

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael T Hill of Firestone, CO; Terry L Hill (MaryJulia) of Little Rock, AK; Rose Haswell (Joe) of LaSalle, CO; and Kimberly Higdon (hunter) of Windsor, CO, sisters, Jane; Betty; Peggy; and Jaquetine, 11 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren.

James was the last of seven children to pass away. James is also preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Marqaret, Wife Barbara, Wife Wilma, and one Grandchild.
