Twinkle was born in Clinton, NY on August 13, 1924 as the ninth of ten children to the late Peter and Nellie Szlosek. She was raised in Clinton on her family’s dairy farm and graduated from Clinton High School. She was very proud of her Polish heritage. Twinkle worked as an administrator at Plattsburgh College where she met her future husband Frederick B. Esposito, then for many years as a sales associate with Sears in both New York and Colorado. Mr. Esposito passed away on January 13, 2013 after nearly 62 years of marriage.
Twinkle is survived by two sons, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law: Mark Esposito of Moab, UT, Paul and Sharon Esposito of Longmont, and Janet Romano of Highlands Ranch. She left five grandchildren including Nick Romano, Tommy Romano, Kyla Esposito, Dustin Esposito, and Nia Esposito. Twinkle was preceded in her death by her eldest daughter, Elaine Petracca (Esposito) and all nine of her brothers and sisters.
Twinkle really lived up to her nickname. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She truly was a shining star and lit up every room she was in with love, laughter, and grace. There will never be another Twinkle and we are all blessed that she was a part of our lives for so long. Twinkle is now shining bright among all the stars as she starts her next journey through the heavens. We love you Twinkle. Here’s Your Kissy Kissy… Muah, Muah! Taki Bedzie!
