Donalee Tatum Hogstrom

July 29, 1932 - December 13, 2021

Donalee, age 89, died December 13, 2021. She was born in Elkville, Illinois, on July 29, 1932, daughter of James Bradley and Addie May Tatum. She is survived by her three sons Ronn Linn and daughter-in-law Teresa Linn, Charles Linn and daughter-in-law Brenda Linn, Jason Hogstrom and daughter-in-law Barbara Hogstrom – her nine grandchildren – Ronn Linn II, Papiereygan Hailey, Christopher Linn, Chelsea Linn, Joshua Linn, Austin Linn, Chandler Linn, Lauren Hogstrom, Logan Hogstrom and seven great grandchildren.

Donalee retired from University of Colorado. Her retirement years brought her tremendous joy. She loved football, was an avid cook and baker, and played endless card games. While living at Broomfield Greens Retirement Community, she often hosted parties for any occasion or for no particular occasion for all of her friends. Many times, she shared her delicious treats with the Walmart clerks and the Elevations Credit Union employees in Broomfield.

Donalee was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

A graveside service will be held Thursday December 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to St. Jude.
