I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Rene's passing... So sorry to you Shirley, Rick,and Theresa.
Rene, you were one of a kind,a very special person with a spirit and soul that drew me to you from the beginning of our relationship and has stayed with me all these years. Our connection will remain on that level forever... So profound, intelligent, vivacious, insightful, extreme, fearless and loving you were,ARE ... even though we weren't in touch much you remained a big influence on my spiritual life and have always been in my heart since we first met! I love you and Feliz and until we meet again be at wonderful peace...🕊️💞

I just learned of Rene's passing a few days ago. I am just heartbroken.  It had been a while since I had seen Rene...but I always looked forward to his visits to my office.  Such a sweet soul with a heart of gold and a sense of humor that would just light up my heart. 

My thoughts and love to his family and friends. I will miss him and never forget him.

My sweet, this Sunday will be one month and I miss you more than I could ever describe in writing. I miss you laugh, your touch, and running my fingers through your thick silver hair. As the days pass, however, I am becoming increasingly aware of how much your essence remains within me - whispering wise words that give me peace. Can I even honestly say that I miss the entirety of you? How can I miss that which is not really gone? You shifted my entire world during the three-plus years of our friendship/relationship. I realize this fact more than ever as I continue to draw upon the wisdom that you gave to me in conversation, in sharing of your favorite passages from various books and in recalling moments of self awareness made possible by your spoken observations. You valued me as a friend, a girlfriend and as a woman. I felt the same, if not more, about you. I honor your spirit now and hope to make you proud as I finish my turn here on Earth. I will forever love you, my sweet.

I miss you Rene. You commentaries on life and your spirit. Thank you for your friendship.

Rene words cannot express the void you have left behind. Your spirit lives on with us and I thank you for all the memories. You kept it interesting to say the least. While I did not have the pleasure of meeting Rene in person, I experienced the blessing he brought to people around him, to friends of both his and mine. 
So gracias, Rene, for bringing love, light and hope into this world. While you may not be physically with us anymore, you will always be in spirit.

You will always be remembered my brother in law, no matter were we go you will remain in our hearts and all the memories that I had when visiting you in California will be with me. I will always remember you making it a challenge between you and Theresa to see who could get there bachelor' s  first then came the bragging about who will get the masters first. But no matter what you two always had good words about the other. Will I won't be there Saturday to see you get your Master's but you will have others there to celebrate and I will do the same in Texas, so till we cross paths again take care and say hello to the ones we Love above. Miss you but not forgotten.
