To the many years I shared with you friend, you will never know the impact you had on me.

So many words and activities I never got to share with you.  Even in life I doubt I could express the magnitude of your character.  

A rarity you were, few people stuck out as clear as you did in high school.  Most notably and memorably, every special needs member of our team you were there to support, and every moment I was emotionally down, you were the only friend to show.  I always admired you for this, and I have yet to find someone who has the emotional intelligence you had and used with great effect, it's the quality I wish I had expressed more, and the quality that continues to influence me.

For the times we spent, we shared a lot of goofs too.  My humor is permanently influenced with a slice dedicated to the times we used to laugh.  It's strange to look back on what we remember, because we often don't get to choose our memories, but looking back on high school, I don't have many that don't include you.

I wish I didn't have to write this in finality,  I wish I could have shared all of this with you years ago.  You were one of the best and I really wanted to see who you were going to become.

We will always remember Jason as a young man with a loving heart, kind eyes and an infectious smile.
We knew Jason from elementary through high school, during those years he was a loyal and compassionate friend to our son, Liam. 
Our hearts break for all of you after losing a son and loving big brother. Jason had a beautiful soul and now his soul lives with the Angels.
We will remember him in our hearts forever.

Jason, 
I watched you grow from about 3 years old to the young man you became. I watched you  fail and struggle at some things but overwhelmingly succeed at others.  What I remember mostly about you was your respectfulness towards others. 
I’m saddened for your sister, mother, father’s loss. But I do know God needed you more. 
See you again someday and keep watch over your family.
