David was so easy to talk with.  He was an introvert at first, but once you started talking with him, he became an extrovert and the conversations were great.  He and I bonded over a lot of things.  We both graduated from the same University, both love anime, both love thai food and both love gaming.  David was an overall great person with a huge smile that warmed up the room.

David was a person who wanted to make himself better in every aspect of life.  When he wanted something, he would set his mind to it and work hard to get it.  He joined our Spartan race team and he immediately started working hard to get prepared.  He started going to the gym, working on his diet and during our race, he never gave up.  That’s the kind of person David was.  A very hard-working individual that never gave up and who was more mature than most people I know!  He had a very bright future and was going to make something of himself.  He is going to be truly missed!

I had the honor of being David's Manager during his time on the Dream Las Vegas Project. We had interviewed virtually prior to his arrival in Vegas and we connected on so many levels. I could already tell that he was smart, professional, and mature beyond his years. After our discussion, I extended him an offer to join the McCarthy Team and help lead the charge on our project at Dream.  From day 1, David was eager to learn and constantly curious. He introduced himself to his new fellow partners and made relationships quickly. But we all know, that's just how David was; easily approachable and ready to connect with you on any topic. I also had the pleasure of helping him through his learning and development and got to see him grow in his career into the man he was becoming. It's not every day that you get an Engineer like David. They are few and far in between, but that's what made him so special. David mirrored all of McCarthy's values; Genuine, We Not I, and All In. And that's what made him fit in so well, not only on the Team, but as a leader in life and amongst his peers. As you can see in this picture, David put himself right in the middle of his Team, alongside his partners, and helped to lead by example. I will always hold him in my heart and will continue to think of him every day, serving as an example of what potential a strong, young, and up and coming individual can have, and serving as an inspiration to always help those around us grow and achieve their dreams and aspirations. My sincere condolences go to the family, from the bottom of my heart. May David forever rest in paradise, and always look upon us to watch out for us. With love and gratitude, - Max

David and I met on the bus ride for the NV40 event for McCarthy.   We talked about his family and his excitement and plans for living in Las Vegas.  I am deeply sorry that his dreams were cut short.  
I will remember him as the fun-loving friend who always had a smile on his face, was always willing to do things for others and was constantly searching for ways to be involved and have our team be closer. 
Our team bonded over each others love for all things food—he was a great cook and a wonderful pairing for my baking.  David was someone that I was so happy to have met and am saddened that we won’t be seeing each other again in the future. 
To his family—I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that you find strength in each other and in his memory.
