Dear Maureen and the rest of Pat's family, My daughter, Tanja Taylor, and I were so sorry to hear of your twin sister Pat's passing. Tanja was in your Brownie troop so many years ago. My husband Al and I often seen you two ladies at the Fireside restaurant. We always enjoyed our conversations. May God's love lift you up during this difficult time. I worked with Patricia for many years at Victoria  Hospital. Patricia was such a joy to talk with about England. There was never a day  when we met up in the hallways of Victoria Hospital she  wasn't without a smile. Such a gentle soul who loved  people.  Very obliging and did her job as well as could be expected. Maureen, I know this is hard for you, but you should be extremely proud of your sister. She was loved by many. Respectfully submitted.

Auntie Pat was my very much loved Aunt, being one of twin sisters to my late Dad John and my Uncle Ray.  When I think back and reminisce about Pat a few things stand out for me.   I remember the amazing holiday the twins (as we call them) took me on to Canada & America when I was 14.  It was such an exciting adventure to travel so far at that age and to see things I’d never seen before.  I can still remember being amazed at Cape Canaveral.  We always knew an event was approaching in the UK, as the twins were always the first to send Christmas, Easter and Birthday cards – often weeks before.  Before the internet arrived they would also write long letters (very long!) telling us about everything they'd been up to - mainly involving the girl guides, the church, or their exciting holidays all over the world.  It was a nice surprise when we saw how up to date the twins were with technology – and we would often get Facebook posts or emails with photos; telling us everything they had been doing.  
We didn’t see Pat and Maureen as much as we wanted, but we would see Pat when the twins came over to the UK every few years.  We were also lucky to see her again when we (myself, my wife Maria and my daughters Jodie and Ellie) visited Niagra Falls some time ago.  Spending New Year’s Eve looking at the falls with Pat & Maureen, Tina and Zac was a very special memory for all of us.  
Since my Dad sadly passed away I decided to make much more of an effort to keep in regular contact with Pat & Maureen, and we spoke regularly.  All our love and thoughts are with Auntie Maureen, Tina, Zac and all her other family and friends.  We wish we could have been in London for Pat’s service, but sadly can’t be there in person.  Our one comfort is that we know Maureen will be surrounded by their family and friends at this difficult time.  All our love, Simon Constable Bryan, Maria, Jodie & Ellie Bryan xxxx

My friend, Pat Constable, was one of those strong, steady dependable women who underpin  families, businesses, institutions and society as a whole and yet who are so often overlooked. We miss them when they're gone. Pat will be missed - as a confidant,  life-long companion and champion of her sister, Maureen; as a gentle, caring, fun-loving Brownie Guider; as a faithful, devoted and committed servant of Christ. We rejoice that she is now in the arms of the Lord.

Aunt Pat, I never met you before but over the years I heard all the lovely sentiments shared by your dear neice Tina. You will be dearly missed by Tina and those who loved you.

Pat was a special person to me.  We spent many years doing Brownies together with Maureen being our leader, enjoying our weekly meetings, camping and social events.  We continued to be friends over the years.  Heaven just got another angel.  Maureen my heart goes out to you.
