Melanie Rose Belanger

Suddenly at LHSC - University Campus on Sunday October 2, 2011, Melanie Rose Belanger passed away in her 18th year. Beloved Daughter of Kevin and Angela Belanger of London and her best friend - her dog, Cadbury. Loving Granddaughter of John and Nancy McTeer of London, the late Jean (2010) and the late Dennis Belanger (2006) and the late Mickey Jinkerson (1973). Dear Niece of Susan McTeer (Ken) of London, Marcel (Gwyn), Tim (Jennifer) both of Sarnia, Jeff (Leslie) of Caledon and Tina Gatt (Fred) of Corunna. Melanie will also be sadly missed by two great grandmothers and many family and friends. Melanie has been a proud London Knight fan since she was 2 when she went to the hockey games with her grandparents at the old Ice House. She was also proud to be a St. Thomas Aquinas Flame when she sat to watch the Senior Football Team win big in the red feather game this past week. Friends will be received at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St.) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (1 Fallons Lane) on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11a.m. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date. In memory of Melanie, donations to the Children's Health Foundation designated to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated.
