Richard Paul Lewis was born on September 17, 1944 in New York, New York to his parents, Charles and Gertrude (McManus) Lewis. Richard passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 at age 78.

Beloved husband of Julia "Julie" (Lynch) Lewis for 57 years. Loving father of Richard Lewis and Maureen Lewis Huebel. Cherished grandfather of Emma Grace Lewis and Grant Lewis.

Richard was a proud Veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for General Motors for 42 years.

Memorial mass at St. Colette Catholic Church on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM (gathering at 9:30 AM). Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Pope Francis Center in Richards honor.
