Richard Charles Fleck

Richard Charles Fleck, age 78, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. Loving husband of Alice for 40 years. Beloved uncle of Dianne (Dale) Massa, and Donna (Steve) Rosenthal. Proud great-uncle and Godfather of Brittany Bishop and Scott Massa. Proud great-uncle of Nick Rosenthal, Dan Massa, and Sean Massa. Dear great-great-uncle of Carter and Xander Bishop.

Richard was preceded in death by parents Charles and Eleanor Fleck, and brother-in-law Gary (Susan) Sitner.

Richard was passionate about reading, the arts, and history. He had a large collection of clowns and pewter figurines. Richard was a big supporter of the arts, he enjoyed attending Detroit Symphony Orchestra performances and traveling to Canada for the Shaw and Stratford Festivals.

Most importantly, Richard was a quiet soul who was a devoted husband and loved his family. He was kind, thoughtful, and adored by many.

Contributions in his memory may be directed to the American Heart Association, a cause important to the Fleck family.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 2, from 4:00-8:00pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152. An in state will take place Friday, May 3, at 9:30am at St. Priscilla Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook St., Livonia, MI 48152, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00am. A committal service will be held Friday at 11:30am at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 25800 Ten Mile Rd., Southfield, MI 48033, where Richard will be laid to rest.
