Patricia Ann Stutler went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 13, 2022, at the age of 91. She passed due to complications from a stroke after a long illness. Patricia was born on January 6, 1931, in Burnsville, West Virginia. She was the second of five children of Thomas McPherson and Mary Leo (Posey). She has one surviving brother Ronald McPherson.
Patricia married Billie Lenord Stutler on June 27, 1953, in Orlando, West Virginia and moved to Redford Township, Michigan in 1956 where she lived until her stroke on July 23, 2014. Her husband Billie Lenord Stutler preceded her in death on July 23, 1997.
Patricia is survived by her three children Gary, Nancy (Temple), and Kim (Ruch) along with eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved to play with and read to.
Patricia received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan in February of 1971 and a Master of Arts from the University of Detroit in May of 1975. She taught for the Detroit Board of Education at the elementary school level for twenty-five years.
Patricia enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, and music - she played piano most of her life and taught her son Gary to play, who never became as good as she was.
Patricia was an angel on earth and displayed the fruit of the spirit throughout her life – she was a true servant of the Lord with the gift of encouragement. She passed along her faith to her children.
