Micki Cibor

Michelle “Micki” Cabrini Cibor, age 76, of Livonia, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Novi. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Anthony “Tony” Cibor; her two cherished daughters: Rochelle “Rocky” Cameron, and Nicole (Joe) Charnley; her five grandchildren: Madelyne, Kassidy, Jack, Drew, and Ciara; and her two sisters: Kateri Dupuy, and Therese Terns.

Micki was born December 19, 1947, in Detroit, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William and Estelle (Finnegan) Terns. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1965 and then attended South Joy Beauty School and received her cosmetology license. She met Tony in 1967 and started dating. They were eventually married and made countless treasured memories over the many years they spent together. Micki devoted much of her life to raising her two daughters, who she loved dearly. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker and mother, Micki worked both as a beautician for her family, friends, and clients and as a project coordinator in the cell phone tower industry. She thoroughly enjoyed the connections she made through these work opportunities. Micki was a devoted Catholic and was a parishioner at St. Colette Catholic Church in Livonia for nearly 40 years.

In her free time, Micki could be found praying for her loved ones, watching sporting events on tv, completing March Madness and college football bowl pools, attending grandchildrens’ events including athletics and theatrical productions, playing card games with her friends and family, baking, playing board games with her grandchildren, completing crossword puzzles, and spending time gardening. She enjoyed a good round of golf and made many fond memories shooting pool with Tony and her grandchildren. What Micki loved most of all was spending time and creating traditions with her family. She was a wonderful and faith-filled woman who will be dearly missed.

Micki was preceded in death by her parents, William and Estelle, her sister, Georgia Clark, her brother, William “Woody” Terns, and her sisters Margaret “Peggy” Moise, and Mary “Toni” Terns.

Micki’s family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, 48152. A Rosary Service will take place at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, with In-State from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am. In accordance with Micki’s wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider contributions in Micki's memory to the Felician Sisters of North America.
