She enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, and her enthusiasm for life was evident in the many activities she embraced over the years. She learned to swim in her 40s, graduated from high school at the age of 45, and took up golf and tap dancing in her 60s. Traveling was another of Margaret's passions, with Topsail Island, North Carolina, holding a special place in her heart.
Margaret was deeply committed to her community. She worked tirelessly with her church school and served as PTA Secretary. She was also a Girl Scout Leader. Her love for the Detroit Tigers was unwavering, and she was a loyal fan through the years. Margaret had a diverse career, working at J.L. Hudson, the Ford Photographic Department, the Accounting Department at Montgomery Ward, and ultimately retiring in 1988 from the City of Livonia Accounting Department.
