Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who adored her family and treasured the time she spent with them. She especially enjoyed family trips up north to East Tawas, where she found joy in nature and togetherness. A true "cat lady," Karen’s love for her feline companions brought her endless happiness. She also had a special fondness for the simple pleasure of going out for coffee, cherishing the experience no matter the location. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and her holiday spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Karen leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her children, Susan (Chris) Braun and Patrick (Dawn) Neiswinter; her grandchildren, Jason Neiswinter, Nathan Braun, Adam Braun, Abraham Neiswinter, and Madilyn Braun; her brother, Neil (Judy) Malson and many nieces and nephews.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Grant, niece and nephew Denise Thomas and Jim Malson and her parents, George and Alleyne.
Visitation will take place at Harry J. Will Funeral Home on Sunday, December 22, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, at 11:00 AM.
Karen's kindness, warmth, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
