Beloved husband of the late Bernice. Loving father of John (Christine) Martin, Laura (Gary) Shernoff and Steven Martin. Cherished grandfather of Kyle Shernoff, Joshua Martin, Julie Martin and great grandfather of Brayden Bysiorek.
Joe travelled extensively with wife Bea to Ontario, Canada to attend plays at Petrolias’ Victoria Playhouse, the Festival in Stratford, and the Shaw Festival in Niagra on the Lake. If asked for a favorite, there were too many to choose. Between shows, they could often be found walking along the Avon river holding hands or feeding the ducks. When home in Michigan, Joe loved working on his stamp collection, watching old movies and spending time with his beloved wife Bea, their Golden Retriever Molly, their children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
A memorial gathering for both Joseph and Bernice will take place on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 3pm-8pm with a Celebration of Life at 6:30pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Livonia.
