Gloria J. Cavanaugh

Beloved wife of Vontros (Von) for 63 years until his death in February 2019. Loving mother of Cindy (Tim) Terhune, Bonnie (Rick) Willmarth and Thomas (Jodi) Cavanaugh. Dear foster mother of William Robson (Lesley). Cherished grandmother of Ricky, Sarah, Becky, Benjamin, Faustine, Daniel, Candis, and Sophia. Great-grandmother of Natalie, Carissa, Judah, Taylor, Adina, Olivia, Selah, Gloriana, Wade Von, Elizabeth, Hunter, Asher, Vontros, and Elijah. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who somehow found time to be an elementary school teacher, earn a Master’s degree in elementary education; ultimately retiring from the Carman-Ainsworth School District in Flint in 1994, after well over 30 years in public education.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private family funeral service will be held at Faith Bible Church in Livonia that will be livestreamed on Facebook on Tuesday, December 1 at 11:00 am at Facebook.com/FBCLivonia.
