David Lutz

David graduated from Ann Arbor High School. After graduation, he continued his education at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. While at Eastern, he met Karen and they fell in love. On December 18, 1971, David and Karen married.

David is survived by his children Jonathan (Angela) Lutz, Phillip (Tracy) Lutz and Katherine (Mark) Lovely and grandchildren; Lauren, Miles, Haley, Logan, Wade and Rowan; sister Mary (Mike) Hollis and brother Mark (Carine) Lutz. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Karen; and sister Nancy (Jack) Harris.

David enjoyed reading, listening to opera and classical music, and truly adored his grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 3pm-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Livonia.

In state viewing will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 10am-11am with a Funeral Service at 11am at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 17810 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
