Charles was the loving husband of Lois for over 67 years. Beloved father of Darrell (Karen), Terry (David) Chase and Steven (Susan). Devoted grandfather of 9, great-grandfather of 17 and great-great-grandfather of 1. Charles was preceded in death by his brother Mel Free, twin sister Charlotte Ehman and granddaughter Colleen.
His family will receive friends for visitation on Monday February 16, 2015 from 4-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia. He will lie in state on Tuesday February 17, 2015 from 10 am until time of Funeral Service, 10:30 am at Lola Park Lutheran Church, 14750 Kinloch (west of Beech Daly Rd) in Redford.
Charles will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
