Annabelle Scott

Annabelle Scott was born May 23, 1921 and passed away on November 23, 2021 at age 100. Beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Scott. Loving mother of Pat Garrett, Tom Scott and Tim (Rose) Scott. Dear grandmother of Josh (April), Matthew and Josh.

Annabelle has been a long time member of Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church of Livonia for 58 years. She worked for many years as a beloved lunch lady for the school district of Northville High school and was employee of the year many times throughout her time there. Before her marriage she was an assistant buyer of DJ Healy Co in Detroit and then managed their Highland Park store. Annabelle had an infectious enthusiasm for her work and life in general and had a remarkable sense of humor. She brought a smile to everyone she met, whether it was the kids she was serving lunch to or the teachers or the staff who worked with her. She also enjoyed working on her house or tending to her garden. Annabelle loved the moon and beautiful things. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday November 29, 2021 from 4-8PM at Harry J Will in Livonia. Memorial service Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 12:00PM (in state 11:00AM) also at the funeral home.
