Teresa Musso

Teresa Musso (née Amenta), lovingly known as Nonna to everyone, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 10, 2024, at the age of 97. She was born on May 30, 1927, in Solarino, Sicily. She then moved to Orange, NJ in 1952 with her husband to start a family. Later settling in West Orange.

Teresa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Umberto, her children Joe Musso and Margaret Carchia, and her grandson Julio Capriglione. Teresa is survived by her loving daughters and their spouses, Molly Albertino (Tom), Lucy Capriglione (Julio), and Merilena Girgenti (Joe). She also leaves her granddaughters that were like her daughters, Tina Parsons and Angelina Christopher, as well as 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Teresa brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. She was everyone’s Nonna! Always making sure everyone was full and happy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12 from 10:30am-11am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral service will follow at 11am at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
