He was the beloved husband of Margaret Rose Christen, loving father of Laura Lauritano and Amy Rizzo, cherished grandfather of Michael and Matthew Lauritano, and dear brother of Patricia Raffellini and her husband Robert. He was also survived by many Raffellini nieces and nephews.
Paul was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Mildred and Dante Rizzo. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a longtime member of the American Legion.
Over the past 20 years, Paul worked as an assistant controller for EI Associates in Cedar Knolls.
Paul was a devout Catholic and a wonderful and generous human being. He touched the hearts of everyone who encountered him.
He was an avid Yankee fan. He enjoyed time spent at Yankee Stadium with his brother in law Robert Raffellini and nephews, Andy and Stephen. He was proud of his grandsons for their active participation in sports, especially following his passion for baseball.
God Bless you, my Paul, as you make your journey to perpetual love, light, and peace. You will be in my heart for always. Your loving wife.
With restrictions recently placed on occupancy in public spaces by the State of New Jersey in the ongoing efforts to limits the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Paul’s funeral arrangements are being held privately under the direction of the LaMonica Memorial Home in Livingston and there will not be any services held in the future.
