Devoted husband of Rebecca Cecchetti Coleman; loving father of Brett, Kevin, David, and Shawn Coleman; beloved son of Mary Lee and the late Richard Elliot, formerly of Parsippany; dear brother of Lee Coleman and his wife Lucienne, John Coleman, Chris Coleman and his wife Katherine, and Dan Coleman and his wife Decie; cherished son-in-law of Ralph and Delores Cecchetti, and brother-in-law of Lawrence, Christine Mumma, Patrice Nelli, and the late Nadina Doughtry, formerly of East Hanover. Paul also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Paul was an active member of the Livingston community. He was a volunteer coach for Livingston Soccer Club and Livingston Recreation Basketball League as well as an outstanding volleyball player, most recently playing in the Livingston Recreational Volleyball League. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid cyclist and hiker.
A graduate of Parsippany High School and Rutgers, The State University, Paul was employed as a Pension Actuary by Prime Pension, LLC of Florham Park, and before that by Ernst & Young, LLP in New York and Buck Consultants in Secaucus.
The family will receive their relatives and friends for a memorial gathering at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ, on Saturday, July 21 from 10-11AM, followed by a memorial service celebrating Paul’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s name to the Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.
