Mary G. Cashin, 102, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Bound Brook, NJ. Born in Morristown, NY to the late Andrew and Pauline White, Mary resided in Brooklyn, NY for many years, before eventually moving to Toms River, then to Bound Brook for the past 7 years. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Dewey and Balentine Law Offices in Manhattan. Mary proudly served as a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn, NY and St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Toms River, for many years. Mary loved to bake and tend to her plants and flowers, both in and outdoors, but one of her favorite things to do was spending time with her beloved family.
Mary was predeceased by her dear husband, William, as well as her siblings. She is survived by her loving sons and their spouses Michael Cashin and his wife Robin, and Christopher Cashin and his wife Teresa; his cherished grandchildren, Kristin Pinto and her husband Brian, Bryan Cashin and his wife Kabrina, and Lauren Cashin; and her adoring great-grandchildren Rylee Pinto and Elayna Cashin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9 from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston. Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, April 10 at 11AM at St. Raphael’s Church, Livingston. Entombment will be private.
