Jean Mary Lowe, age 71, of New York, NY, passed away on March 8th, 2018. Originally from Livingston, NJ, she later moved to New York City. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy E. and Albert V. Lowe. She is survived by her sisters, Joan (Reggie) Jennison of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Jamie (Jane) Huber of Shamong, New Jersey. She was the aunt of Christopher, Patrick and Daniel Huber and Michael and Deborah Jennison.
Jean retired after 35 years with the New York Public Service Commission. She graduated from Livingston High School and St. Joseph’s College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Jean was an avid traveler with recent trips to Panama, Ecuador and Cost Rica. She enjoyed good friends, great food and her loving family. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation is from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Friday, March 16th. Funeral Mass to follow from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at St. Philomena Church. Commital Service at Restland Memorial Park following. A luncheon is planned afterwards at Hanover Manor.
