Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carlos, and her dear daughter, Sonia Gumucio. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Regina Gumucio, and her husband, Damian Lobasso; her adored granddaughter, Kieva Farina, and her husband, Daniel Tumminia; as well as her five precious great-grandchildren, Leah and Jack Farina, and Gabrielle, Daniel, and Nicholas Tumminia. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and her love will forever guide them.
A private service will be held, reflecting Irene's preference for quiet dignity. Arrangements are entrusted to Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Irene's memory be made to one of her cherished charities: The Seeing Eye, St. Joseph School for the Blind, or the American Lung Association. Your kindness will honor her remarkable life and the love she shared with all.
