Helen Joan Berger

A graveside service will be held Friday, 10:30 AM at Oheb Shalom Cemetery, Hillside NJ. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the American Friends of Magen David Adom. Arrangements are by Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Chapel, Livingston NJ.

School teacher in the Newark Public School system before retiring, Helen was a long-time resident of South Orange and later Roseland New Jersey before moving to Florida in 2014.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Robert Berger in 2012. She is survived by her sons: Thomas J Berger and his wife Beth of Miami FL; Richard Berger and his wife Laurie of Wyckoff, NJ; grandchildren: Adam Berger, Jaimie Berger, Jake Berger, Polly Lorien; and two great grandchildren: Allie Berger and Ginger Lorien
