Eileen Horwitz Mack, 94, passed away on Thursday, June 30, at her home in Boca Raton, Florida. Born to parents Leon and Gussie in New York City, she graduated from Elmira College in New York and then raised her family in Livingston, NJ before moving to Florida over 30 years ago. Eileen was an avid tennis player, a patron of the arts, loved traveling, and playing cards and enjoying nights out with good friends. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and always had a quote from the New York Times to share.
Affectionately known as Giggles, she was the beloved wife of the late Jack Horwitz and then the late Morton Mack. Eileen was the loving mother of Larry (Susan) Horwitz, Caryn Horwitz, and Robbie (Thomas) Lert, stepmother of Erica (David) Mash and Ben (Kari) Mack, devoted Grandmother to Sara, Ricky, Carly, Michele, Reesa, and Sasha, cherished Great Grandmother of Avery, Keira, Lucy, Cole, and Miles, and was a doting aunt to Jane (Richard) Zenker, Leslie (Mitchell) Rubin and their children.
