My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Alpert Family. Alpert was a generous and kind person, and was never too busy to help others.  I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace and his memories be a blessing .
 

My deepest condolences to the Alpert family.  I have been away from work on vacation and just learned of the sad passing of Clark.  I have worked for Clark for several years as one of the secretaries on his legal team.    He was a really nice man to work for.  He was a hard worker and expected the same from his legal time but he was always considerate and understanding of his employees.  Being nearly the same age as him, I enjoyed his jokes and witticisms because I knew what he was talking about.  Clark will be sorely missed by his family to whom he was so devoted to and his colleagues at work.
I pray that God will hold you in his arms and give you comfort as you grieve for Clark.

The world will shine a little less brightly now that Clark Alpert is no longer down here. My husband, Larry Orloff, and I are in Phoenix, visiting Larry's son, and just heard via Ron Berutti's email; so we will not be able to pay our respects in person.  Clark was a partner, mentor, friend and brilliant colleague.  Although the last time we were with Clark in person was at Melissa's wedding (what a magnificent event!), we spoke on the phone several times a year. Every conversation ended in a laugh with Clark (what a great laugh!) at some irony highlighted by his wonderful, unique sense of humor. How he will be missed and how I wish I had availed myself of more of those one-of-a-kind chats with a brilliant, caring human being... 

My twin brother Bob and I went to college and law school with Clark, who was a close friend and confident and unfailing poker buddy.  In addition to his obvious brilliance, he was kind-and generous-hearted.  But perhaps above all he was hilarious.  Always ready with a pun or satirical observation, his quick wit provided a wonderful diversion from the stresses of law school.  Although over the years we lost contact, in the last few years we became email buddies, sharing interesting articles with a historical theme, usually followed by an exchange of puns and able to converse in the short hand that close friends have with each other, just as we had done decades before.  I know his beautiful family, to whom he was devoted with all of his heart and energy, will miss him terribly.  I will too.

Clark was a wonderful man with a constant twinkle in his eye. He was a killer Scrabble player and punster.  I'll always remember him for his wit and devotion to his incredible daughter.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Clark.  Clark was a dear colleague and a kind soul with a great sense of humor as well as a brilliant attorney.  May his memory be a blessing.
