Barbara Elaine Tisch, age 83 passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Barbara was born in Brooklyn, New York. She lived in Long Island for many years before moving to Livingston, NJ in 2013. A graduate of Brooklyn College, she went on to become a teacher in New York City before she transitioned to a successful career in Marketing and Public Relations which she enjoyed until her retirement.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Richard Tisch, loving mother of Victoria Baum (Howard) and the Honorable Alexander Tisch, devoted grandmother of Jordan and Theodore, cherished sister of Michael Drillings.
A funeral service for Barbara will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. Following the funeral service will be a burial at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652.
