Adam is always a good friend of mine because he is the one in my heart.

So very sorry to hear about Adam’s passing. I worked with Adam  at Mint Investments in Millburn and Hoboken. He was always a happy person to be around every day at work.

Saddened to Hear about Adam. He and I only just texted me on facebook  March 13th. His words to me?

We should get together for lunch or dinner one day to share our spiritual experiences. I imagine we've covered a lot of the same territory and would end up talking for hours.

At Wheatley School, Adam was the one with the huge amount of energy, down the hall his light would fill the walls.  We used to talk of music, heh...I remember buying him a copy of a comic book "Howard the Duck" because it showed KISS in the comic! We spoke at the past class reunions (but never enough) and would connect via facebook. I understand Adam was seeking other spiritualities, and saw I was doing the same.  Thankful I can share his text to me with everyone.

Now it is Adam who is one with the Spiritual Sky. His smile will be missed.

I only know Adam for a few years, having met him through a mutual friend. Though knowing him only for a short time, I think of him as a very close friend.

One memory that I've shared with others before, and wanted to share now, was our trip to Tennessee for the total eclipse. Adam had planned a trip to see the eclipse with his son David. Since it was to be a once in a lifetime thing, I asked if I could join the trip, and was welcomed by Adam. In his usual gregariousness, he offered for me to share the room with them.

Curious about where we would be staying, I checked out the hotel, which was in Lebanon, KY, and with a little research, found that we were not in the totality zone. Adam had booked a hotel in the wrong city, intending to go to Lebanon, TN instead of the one in KY. I mentioned that to him, and so I guess that sent him on a scramble to find accommodations in the zone. Even though everything was mostly booked, he eventually found a room at  a resort, which he thought was a golf resort. 

He gave me the name, and i checked it out online. It was not a golf resort. It was a clothing optional and something of a swingers resort. We were going to view the eclipse at a nudist colony. We went. It was a fun road trip. We saw a lot more moons than we wanted to, and unfortunately, clouds moved over the sun just at the moment of totality, but we were able to experience some of the other effects.

It was an unforgettable experience. One that brings lots of smiles and memories, and a feeling of sadness that I won't have a chance for more with Adam. 

My deepest sympathies and condolences to Adam's family and friends.  I knew Adam, and Laura, from High School and recently reconnected with Adam through Facebook and enjoyed his posts and our few exchanges. Reading all the facebook posts from  people from so many different stages of Adam's life, he was truly a special person who touched so many people's hearts and souls. Adam's presence will truly be missed, but Adam will continue on with everyone he touched. May his memory be for a blessing. ❤

Adam Adam Adam .... It just isn't possible. You were supposed to just always be there. Even when we were out of touch for a few years at a time, you were there. You of the incredible, beautiful, stunningly infectious smile and laugh. My absolutely most important and meaningful memories of high school are of your laugh. At Frank Zappa's "great googly moogly!" The one time we both got kicked out of class, in physics with Mr. Moska, laughing utterly out of control from your "Maybe if we get up on the desk and do a jig he'll deduct another ten points!" (And then the way you apologized to Mr Moska afterward, because the reality was we really loved and respected him even if we were momentarily overcome by a fit of teenaged giggles.) When you utterly threw yourself into the outrageous part of Yasir Arafat at the Model U.N. when we were assigned to represent the PLO -- a model UN about the only thing I remember (besides your role-playing) was laughing hysterically with you. That time you rescued me at 3 in the morning all the way out in Wantaugh -- I had been out on a date, managed to lock my keys in the car, and you were the friend I thought to call -- because you were the friend who would do that for a friend -- and then when you arrived in Wantaugh you drove right past me, dangling my replacement car key out the window, without stopping ... with that incredible, beautiful, stunningly infectious smile and laugh -- when I was done cursing you out I then joined in the laughter with you ... which continued when I took you out to an all-night diner to thank you with a very large plate of bacon ("God's gift to mankind," you said) and of course it wasn't just the incredible, beautiful, stunningly infectious smile and laugh ... it was your manner, your spirit, your soul ...when everyone else was freaking out about how important a certain rite of passage was, when it seemed through our teenaged mind muddle to be the most important thing in the world, you said ...(ctd on Facebook)

Adam and I went to school together.  We knew each other since kindergarten because it was a small school district making for a small class size. So all our classmates knew each other and grew up together even if we weren’t friends.  We graduated high school in 1980 . But it wasn’t until we found each other on Face Book thru other Wheatley high school friends  , that  Adam and I became true friends.  Chats lead to long conversations about so many things . He had a mind like a trap filled with endless information  and the zest to keep on learning and growing . Meeting in person again at a reunion and getting together on and off thru the years has kept us close. My husband Andy and he developed a great bond as well . I enjoyed sitting and listening to their conversations often of different topics than Adam and mine . But he had the ability to bond with many in that way. 
He painted from photos I posted on Facebook of myself with my newborn daughter , my oldest sons first birthday , and pencil drawing of my daughters wrist corsage at her prom . I have them in my home and will forever treasure them . 
The last time we saw Adam was in July , he came to visit us at our home and brought Poke Salmon which he enjoyed sharing with us. He had many aspirations and dreams and I can’t help but be angry that he won’t be able to keep on reaching for the stars and sheadung  his light on us all. 
It was probably our mutual love for Fred Rogers that is dearest  to my heart and I find it comforting that he passed on Freds Birthday . ❤️
Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and all who knew and felt his love. 
But I am so glad he truly lived this life with us.

I met Adam Wasserman as the result of being part of a series of online classes and a FB community of cooking.  Adam was a good friend, I spite of me never having met home in person. He was supportive and kind, Eve tempered, that I could tell, and even reached out to me by sending a book on meditation my way—an act that in no way was ever necessary in his part.  But he did it. And that act of a relative stranger, at least someone who I didn’t know face to face helped me through some rouse times as I moved to the east coast from Wyoming, away from my family, to hone my craft. 

Adam, I am so sorry that you are gone.  I had just though about you the other day and was literally going to reach out to you tomorrow, but it is too late.  You impacted my life so positively, and I know I am not alone in that experience.

You inspired me to move forward on my meditation n practice and I will never forget you.  

Namaste, my friend.  May the light in you shine fiercely through the universe and all ages.  

And may we all have the courage to practice uninhibited kindness as you have done.
