Wilma Geneva Davis entered into her heavenly rest on Thursday, March 26th, 2015. She is now without pain and in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born January 17, 1925, Wilma Geneva Creech, in Ouachita County, Arkansas, to her parents Edwin Elisha and Lydia Creech. Wilma grew up in South Central Arkansas in the small community of Red Hill, near Chidester. In 1953, she married the love of her life John Sam Davis. Together they raised three children, Les, Debbie and Gary. For more than 50 years they made their home in Southwest Little Rock. Wilma was a member of Geyer Springs United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women’s group. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Elisha and Lydia Coleman Creech, her brothers, Bernard and Clifford Creech, her sisters Bonnie Davis and Elgie Mae Stinnett and her husband Sam. She is survived by her children Les Davis, Debbie Craft, and Gary Davis; her grandchildren Scott Davis, Paige Davis Tinnon, Amy Tarvin, Lorie Craft Solis, Doug Craft and Samantha Davis Harrington and her great grandchildren Aliza, Addison, Alex, Elijah, Kalynn, JJ, Langlea, Christian and Julia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock with funeral services being held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 1:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Geyer Springs United Methodist Church.
