Wayne was a wonderful and loved husband, father and grandfather. He always showed great strength of character, had a joyful outlook on life, and a great sense of humor. He was proud Navy veteran who served our country in the Korean Conflict.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Marla (John) Gregory, Rick (Jennifer) Collie, and Sheridan (Doug) Rood; grandchildren: Colton (Emily) Gregory, Shelby Collie, Joshua (Samantha) Collie, Rikki (Garrett) McPherson, Dustin Collie, Patrick Rood and Margaret Rood; and great grandchildren: Matilda, Roan, Taylor, Emily, Jacoby and Chase.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Carlene McCloud Collie; his parents, William and Blanche; and brothers: Harold and Morris Collie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arkansas Veterans Hospital.
