Thelma J. Baham, 71, of Little Rock, peacefully went to be with our Lord on September 11, 2014. She was born in Jerome, Arkansas to the late Booker and Velma Criswell. Thelma retired from the banking industry after over 20 years of service. She was an avid bowler and competed in several leagues. She was the first black female inducted into the Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame in 2009. She loved her family and marguerita Wednesdays with her friends. She also loved anything lady bug. She had lady bugs in every shape and form all over her house. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Criswell and Mattie Graham; and one brother, Elbert Criswell. Many wonderful memories will shared by her husband of 42 years, Raymond Baham; one daughter, Tracey Salley (Bryan); one son, Raymond Paul Baham (Gloria); one step-daughter, Carla Roberts-Jones; two brothers, Haywood Criswell (Delphine), James Criswell (Janice); one sister, Odessa James; five grandchildren, Summer Salley, Trey Salley, Cristopher Baham, Chari Jones and Vicara Jones; and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Baptist Hospice for all of the loving care and services they provided. Visitation will be Monday, September 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
