Mary Lou Louviere, 69, of Little Rock, AR passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023. She was born on August 17, 1953 in El Paso, TX. She had many accomplishments during her service with the U.S. Navy of over 13 years and a rank of Personnelman First Class.
She raised 5 children. She worked for UAMS and most recently assisted with finding affordable housing for residents in Little Rock, AR. She found joy in helping others. She will be and already is greatly missed.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Catalina and Macario Veliz; and her sister, Barbara Wende.
She is survived by the 5 children she raised, Dawn Nysten, Nola Nysten, Jene Louviere, Taylor Nysten, Brianna Nysten; granddaughter, Ruby Logan; sister, Olga Rodriguez.
Her final resting place will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11 AM.
