Mary Jo (Ray) Green, 84, passed away January 6, 2023. She was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on October 4, 1938 to the late Martin and Iva Kitchens. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Henry “Sonny” Ray and Buddy Green.
She is survived by her daughters, Tamara McCormick and Brenna Ray; grandchildren, Dena Poe, Sabrina Emil, and Jeremy Ray-Shock; great-grandchildren, Melissa, Briana, Alyssa, Solstice, Luna, Jacey, and Emanuel.
She was devoted to Bible study and her church congregation. Mary Jo loved her family and will be deeply missed by all of them.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Little Rock on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery.
