Jonnie Carolyn Cook

Jonnie Carolyn Cook, age 84 of Mayflower, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 1; 2020. She was born in Banks, Arkansas to parents Raymond Jones and Mattie Mae Jones. She was married for 49 years to Felton (Pep) Cook.

Jonnie is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Mattie Mae Jones, husband Felton (Pep) Cook, sister Cleo Watson and son-in-law Emeric Ray Strange Jr.

She is survived by daughters Debra Garrett of Bryant, Brenda Strange of Scott, Arkansas, grandchildren, Nicholas Garrett of Bryant, Arkansas, Landon Garrett (Tammy) of Benton, Arkansas, Angela Calhoun of Scott, Arkansas, great grandchildren, Tyler Calhoun of Sherwood, Arkansas, Emma Garrett of Benton, Arkansas and brother Bill Jones (Connie) of Warren, Arkansas.

Jonnie retired from Clark printing and Billing Manager for Pep Transportation. Jonnie loved to travel places with her husband and family, reading , camping and fishing. She loved her family and was always there for them. She was a very caring person that always saw the good in everyone.

The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice of Conway and Dr. Lee, Pulmonologist of Conway for the special care provided. Her neighbors Randy and Sue Martin. She said she was always treated like family and for this she was very grateful.

There will be a grave side service on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas.
