Donald Ward

Donald “Donnie” Robert Ward of Little Rock, was called home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on October 10, 2015. Born May 23, 1947 in Booneville, Arkansas, he was the son of Frank and Mary Vester Ward. A retired transportation supervisor, he was a veteran of the Viet Nam Era. Preceded in death by his parents, a sister Virginia Addy and a brother, Jimmy Ward, he is survived by his wife, Linda Warner Ward; children, Sherri (John) Walker, Danya (Brooke) Robertson, and Tiffany (Mike) Wyatt; siblings, Carolyn Ward, Eddie Ward, and Ann Fleckenstine; grandchildren, Blake Ward, Tanner Hogue, Shelby Walker, Payton Hogue, Alyson Robertson, Peyton Wyatt, Parker Wyatt and Preston Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Brantley Hogue and Kadem Ward and a host of additional family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111 with Chaplain Larry Remington officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Carolan Cemetery, Booneville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
