Claryne Bruck, 93, of Little Rock passed away December 5, 2024. She was born September 22, 1931, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Clarence and Lorene Brock Bruck. In addition to her parents, Claryne was preceded in death by her nephew, Charles Lankford Jr.; brother-in-law, Charles Lankford Sr.; nephews-in-law, William Felton and James Diemer; and her life-long friend Mary Lewis Munn.
Claryne will be remembered for her feisty personality and sharp memory. She was a long-time member of Henderson Methodist Church. She enjoyed cheering for the Razorbacks and watching her plants and flowers grow. Claryne worked for the state of Arkansas and Southern Farmers’ Association. After retiring from Southern Farmers’ Association, she took a position in her church’s daycare finally retiring from there at the age of 86.
Those left to cherish the memories of Claryne include her sister, Lynetta Lankford; nieces, Kathy Felton, Becky (Billy) Kilmer and Liz Diemer; along with two more generations of precious nieces and nephews; and special friend, Mary Alice Cook.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Claryne will be laid to rest following the service at Calvary Cemetery.
