Betty married Roy W. Morris in Washington, D.C. on April 30, 1960. She and Roy were working for Safeway at the time. During Roy's employment with Safeway they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, then Seattle, Washington, Garland, Texas and then Little Rock, Arkansas. After Roy's death in 1997, she moved to University Village Retirement Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roy and Betty were parish members of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Little Rock Arkansas. Betty was a wife, mother, and homemakers for most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Morris and her granddaughter, Sheila Ann Lockhart. Her survivors include her son, Larry D. Lockhart and daughter-in-law, Mary C. Lockhart of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Other survirors are great grandsons, Jesse Lockhart and Jimmie Lockhart, great granddaughter-in-law, Heather Lockhart, great, great granddaughers, Lillee Lockhart and Jamie Lockhart of Mannford, Oklahoma.
