Born on November 26, 1969, in San Francisco, CA, Will was the son of Margaret Whiles Wright and the late Lewis William Wright. As a child of a military family, Will spent his youth moving around the United States and living in Germany before settling in Fortville, Indiana. Will was a 1987 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School where he was an awarded competitive swimmer. Following high school, Will began his career in Feeder System sales. Will and his family lived on Lake Murray and he worked at the Lake Murray Marina as Dockmaster for many years. Later in his career, Will worked in Fiber Optics project installations, including Lexington Medical Center Hospital.
A friend to all who knew him, Will enjoyed entertaining and was a true jokester. Will loved cooking and was an avid viewer of the food network. With deep knowledge of the celebrity chefs and the competitions, Will dreamed of being a contestant on a show. Many fond memories were made around a table of delectable foods lovingly prepared and shared by Will. Most importantly, Will loved his family. His children were the loves of his life and over the past few years, the family grew by a daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and the greatest blessings he could have asked for, his six grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, Margaret, Will is survived by his son, Taylor Wright (wife, Kelly); daughters, Courtney Wright, Cari Wright Player (husband, Christian); grandchildren, Sullivan Wright, Layla Wright, Kyler Taylor, Levi Player, Lennon Player and Lilliann Player. Along with his former wife, Tammy Wright, Will is survived by his sister, Claire Ruebeck (husband, Dave) and longtime loving friend Lydia Huckfeldt.
